Fred Meeting Notes 12/13/09

Last Friday Night Recap:
-Most pathetic turnout ever seen
-Craft Room was great
-Perhaps give it another go- not up against other things

Voting:
-Wednesday at midnight- deadline for voting 
-Alumni Liaison: Grace 
	-thinking about doing an alumni history book
-Advertising Coordinator: Ryan
	-really likes making posters and Helvetica font
-Group Liaison: Sean Zimmer and Mike M.
	-Sean: Fred groups have fallen by the wayside and should be resurrected 
-Mike: Fred groups overlooked but still important because open the common space to the community at large
-Calendar Coordinator: Thea Button
-Thea: fast responder to e-mails and knows how to utilize Google calendar; would use all of the Fred space
-Scotty: also responds quickly to e-mails and knows how to utilize Google calendar
-Bonding Coordinator: Jenna Barry
	-Jenna (from Ireland): organized, wants to do one bonding event per month
-Event Coordinator: Sean Zimmer
	-Friday night events are very important to Trinity community
-Secretary: Scotty 
	-very neat and organized
	-make Constitution more of a presence here
-Treasurer: Jake Gire and Pratheek
-Jake: enjoys managing funds, small way can contribute to the Fred during wrestling season, gets money fast and easily
-Pratheek: understands Trinity’s financial system, has had past experience in high school
-Community Facilitator: Hannah Kaneck, Mike M., Ellie Anderson
-Hannah: active non-member as a freshman, has loved living here, very organized (stage manager experience)
-Mike M: active non-member as a freshman as well, loved going to Fred events, passionate about the community, wants to step up involvement
-Ellie Anderson: will be a brand new member in the spring, good at making personal connections, has previous leadership experience (read her paragraph in the ballot- it’s very well written)

*If spots aren’t filled at these first elections, we’ll have special elections afterwards.  

Announcements:
-9:00pm tonight Non-Demoninational Gift Exchange in the Fred common room
-If you can’t make the meeting, leave your gift under the projector in the common room
-Leave your gift anonymous (don’t put your name on it)
-Winter Break (a Fiona announcement)
	-Sign the pink sheet on your door
	-Empty your trash and close your shades before leaving
-Hannah Kaneck donating a TV to the 6th floor Fred common room
-Cookies v Cancer coming back this Wednesday: hot fresh cookies delivered to your room between 9pm and 11pm
	-Sign up outside Mather
-Kudos to Dave Rowe for cleaning out the Fred closet
-We should post instructions for using the Fred projector inside the cabinet- Scotty will be taking care of this project 
-Thanks to Sean and Ryan for being excellent Community Facilitators
