Hi Everyone in The Fred,

So, I just got locked out of my room for two hours, and I wanted to share something said by the locknetics technician who came out to fix it. These locks have a privacy feature that makes it impossible for the handle to catch; as in, the handle is physically restricted from turning the pins inside the mechanism, even if you enter the right code. This feature will engage if any amount of downward pressure is exerted on the inside handle. That means if you have umbrellas, scarves, hats, and the like hanging from the inside door handle, you may end up locked out. Save yourself the trouble and put them somewhere else.

Have a wonderful start to December everyone.

Best,
Will
