Dear colleagues,

The 22nd annual meeting of the NorthEast Consortium for Quantitative Literacy will be held March 30/31 on the campus of Bay Path University near Springfield, MA. The meeting is jointly sponsored by Bay Path and Yale University, and we (the organizers) would like to extend an invitation to you and any interested colleagues to attend one or both days of the conference.

The schedule is still somewhat in flux, but in general the first day of the meeting will focus more on helping students bridge the experience gap for success in STEM and quantitative courses, while the second day will focus specifically on training tutors and running learning centers.

The conference website is here: https://poorvucenter.yale.edu/NECQL2019

The registration fee is $15 per day, mainly to cover food. The invited speakers are listed on the website, but please note that there are still a limited number of 20-minute speaking slots available, and you can indicate in the registration form if you are interested in making a short presentation.

We hope you can attend! Please also distribute this invitation to any colleagues you think might be interested.
Dr. John Hall, Senior Lecturer in Mathematics, Yale University
Dr. Ning Jia, Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Director, MS Applied Data Science, Bay Path University
Dr. Kailas Purushothaman, Director of Residential College Science/Math Tutoring, Yale University
