[Qr-list] parking on Saturday

Dear NECQL participants,

Regarding parking on Saturday. If you are staying at the Marriott or The Study, it may be easiest just to walk over to 17 Hillhouse (it's about 10 mins from either Hotel).

However, for anyone wanting to park near the conference, there is metered street parking on Hillhouse Ave and free parking in most of the Yale lots.

BTW The New Haven parking authority seem to be quite keen on ticketing.

Fortunately on Saturday many of the Yale lots are free (even the gated ones are open)

The closest to 17 Hillhouse is

Lot 37:Located on Trumbull (between Temple and Hillhouse). It says 2$/hr,
but I'm pretty sure it's free on Saturdays (I park there every Saturday).

After going past 17 Hillhouse (it's a 1 way street), turn right and then left into the car park.
There is a big "Welcome to Yale" sign next to the car park.

Though this one may fill up.


Another possibility is

Lot 22: Gibbs Laboratory
Located on Whitney Ave. Access directly across from Humphrey Street.

This is a much bigger lot and about 5 mins from 17 Hillhouse.

The Gate is open on Saturdays.
