PPR: Using PPR on a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

I have installed PPR2 on the Raspberry Pi 2 Model B but am having some 
difficulties.

I installed it with:

cd /home/pi/temp/PPR/ppr-2.00a1
make install
cd pprd
./pprd
cd ../ppr
chown ppr ppr

I then used the following to spool an existing printer dump to it:

su ppr
./ppr /home/pi/data/113.txt

Unfortunately, I get an error showing in the logs:

default-1.0: destination "default" does not exist
write: ppr is not logged in
responder write: chaining to responder mail
execvp("/usr/lib/sendmail", ...) failed, errno=2 (No such file or directory)
responder mail: can't send to ppr

What am I missing?
