We are looking for those able-minded individuals who are willing to grasp the wheel and steer this ship into the spring semester. </div><div><br></div><div>If you would like to nominate yourself for any of the Officer Positions, please e-mail both Sean (<a href="mailto:sean.zimmer@trincoll.edu">sean.zimmer@trincoll.edu</a>) and Ryan (<a href="mailto:ryan.haney@trincoll.edu">ryan.haney@trincoll.edu</a>) with the position you would like to run for and a meaty paragraph describing why you would like to serve in that role or why you feel that you are qualified. Self-nominations only please.</div><div><br></div><div><b>ALL NOMINATIONS AND CANDIDATE BLURBS MUST BE RECEIVED BY SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12TH AT 12:00 PM (NOON).</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>A few other notes about the elections: You can nominate yourself for more than one position. If you are elected for more than one position, you can then choose which you would like to fill.</div><div><br></div><div>All candidates will have the opportunity, if they so choose, to address the community and speak to their nominations at the next Fred meeting, which will be this Sunday, December 13th at 1:00 PM. <div class="MsoNormal">1. <b>Two Community Facilitators</b>: Organize and moderate
meetings, meet regularly with Staff Advisor,
organize orientation events, oversee application process and housing lottery,
perform any
undefined duties deemed necessary for the well-being on the community.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal"><br></div><div class="MsoNormal">2. <b>Treasure</b>r: Responsible for
submitting receipts to Staff Advisor, keeping track of expenses,
provide weekly budget updates, and plan annual budgets to be ratified at
general<span style="mso-tab-count:1"> </span>meetings.</div>

</span><b>Secretary</b><span style="mso-spacerun:
yes">: Takes minutes at weekly meetings, sends minutes to all members, adds

to the constitution, and ensures that the community upholds the constitution.</span></div>

<b>Event Coordinator</b>: Oversees committee established for each weekly event,
delegates tasks to the <span style="mso-tab-count:1"> </span>committee
necessary for the execution of the event, performs any task the committee fails
to perform,
prepares contracts for artists, works with advertising coordinator.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>The Event Coordinator
is expected to oversee the preparations on the day of the event.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>The Event Coordinator,
or a proxy, should also be on hand to manage the event during the course of the evening.</div>

<b>Community Bonding Coordinator</b>: Responsible for organizing events and activities
designed to <span style="mso-tab-count:1"> </span>promote
intra-Fred social health.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal"><br></div><div class="MsoNormal">6. <b>Calendar
Coordinator</b>: Responsible for scheduling use of common room, posting and maintaining
physical and electronic calendars accessible to all members.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal"><br></div><div class="MsoNormal">7.
<b>Group Liaison</b>: Responsible for communication with group contact members,
keeping records of <span style="mso-tab-count:1"> </span>group
attendance, monthly update of group activity, responsible for maintaining the
vitality of the <span style="mso-tab-count:1"> </span>groups.</div>

<b>Advertising Coordinator</b>: Prepares flier for weekly events, oversees
distribution of flier, responsible
for electronic and all other advertising.</div>

Homecoming and other alumni reunion events, and facilitates communication among alumni

Serving in an Officer Position is one of the best ways to give back to The Fred.
