Smith College and Williams College are hosting the <a href="https://www.smith.edu/qlc/NECQLXXI.html">twenty-first meeting of theNortheast Consortium for Quantitative Literacy (NECQL)</a> at Smith College in
Northampton, Massachusetts, and we ask you to save the dates March 24th and/or
25th in order to attend!<br>

NECQL is a forum for the discussion of issues and the dissemination of

experience gap. The morning program includes presentations about how some
institutions address the experience gap that often presents as math or
quantitative preparedness issues and what some programs are doing to help
students reach college level readiness and acquire skills that allow them to
engage in STEM+ college level courses. The afternoon program includes a guided
workshop for attendees to develop actionable items for themselves and their

Support Centers (QMaSC). The topic is "What do our tutors need and how do
we provide it for them?" Tutor training activities and a discussion of a
